They will meet last year s champions Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Pakistan School, who made short work on Bright Riders in a 10-wicket triumph, in the final at the ADCC Oval-2 on Tuesday.

Fazal Shahid played a captain s role for Emirates Future. The opener made a top score of 53 off 59 balls, and hit three fours and a six. He shared a century stand with Ishit Patel (32) for the first wicket, and held on to a couple of well-judged catches at long on.

The ADIS fielders grassed six catches and conceded 27 extras of which 26 were wides. Shahid was let off twice. However, it was the batting that let them down.

Jonathan Figy s departure sent panic in their camp, leaving Sidharth Ramesh to wage a lone battle. Arriving at the crease after the fall of the first wicket, Ramesh struck 53 off 45 balls. He was eighth out when trying going for a big hit after seeing wickets tumble at the other end.
